Mid October, 2018 Marcel had the incredible opportunity to present as a guest lecturer to the Johnson & Wales Design Club. The 2 hour presentation was open to the public and included conversations around;
Marketing your creative work.
Presenting yourself as a creative professional.
Branding yourself on the internet.
Learning how to create without limitations.
Breaking into the Freelance Design industry.

Photo Mar 02, 2 18 37 PM.jpg — Throughout the course of this lecture, Marcel was able to answer questions and push JWU students to start seriously marketing their work as professionals. The goal of the session being to give more people the power to use their creativity as freely as they would like.
The workshop ended with portfolio and social media auditing + live discussions on how to improve the reach of student’s work while developing client acquisition models based on individual students needs.
